And so, over the years of my obsession over Warcraft and slight background of Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit in both book and film, there are a few suspicious things which I have noticed.
World of Warcraft: The wall of the Icecrown, the Frozen Throne.
Lord of the Rings: The Black Gate of Mordor.
Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne of the Lich King.

World of Warcraft: The Lich King.
Lord of the Rings: The Witch King.

Lord of the Rings: Trent.
World of Warcraft: Loading Screen.
Lord of the Rings: Art Cover.

I'm not an expert in this field but I have always been told that Warcraft was greatly inspired by Tolkien's epics. Some devotees would say they ripped off LOTR. *shrugs*

lol. this actually makes ALOT of sense now that i think about it. i started playing WoW about a month after Burning Crusade came out, and quit about 2 months ago because of the crazy influx of tardish 12 year olds.
