Ghost In The Shell sucked so bad. >_> Is it worse than Man of Steel and Jurassic World? No. But goddamn, it's such a racist and bland nightmare! At least The Last Airbender and Jem and the Holograms contributed SOMETHING to cinema. The whitewashed Ghost in the Shell couldn't be saved, no matter how amazing the visuals were.

Hollywood. Stay away from Sailor Moon, Fushigi Yuugi, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Elfen Lied and especially Mai-HiME/Otome. I'll NEVER forgive you.

Nodding in agreement with Luu-sama. I mean, come on. I'm sure Scarlett Johansson is very talented and all, but I can think of a whole host of women better qualified to play the Major - i.e. the vast majority of the worldwide female Japanese population. And, Hollywood, if you want to whitewash it, then please, don't be setting it in Tokyo.

I'll stick to the animated versions for my GitS fix, thank you very much.

But at the same time, I will never watch any form of Live Action of any anime that does not have Asian Actors/Actresses starring in them. When I heard that Light Yagami from Death Note was renamed Light Turner, I was done! *falls over*

If anyone you somehow care about is really nasty, ignorant or uncaring towards you, respond by being really, really nice to them. That way, you may make them burn with guilt.

If they ask why, tell them that being a prick is their choice. You choose not to respond in kind. If they say they don't deserve it, agree, but tell them they have your kind wishes anyway.

The world is full of knobheads. The only way to try to rectify this in an infinitesimally-small way is to refuse to be broken and to join the thronging mass of knobheads.

I try not to be furious today because of the occasion, but seriously? I'd rather not flaunt doing religious stuff publicly when in reality, I step down on and ridicule others behind the scenes.

Wag ako, please lang.

It's a good thing I cut my ties from those people.

How can this set of seedless grapes taste so much better than another set of seedless grapes? And what's the deal with some seedless grapes not tasting right? Grapes are grapes. I can't believe grapes can taste differently than each other when they look the exact same from the outside.

The outside may be but 2 genders, but the inside has many seeds... many various personalities. Many differences that are unique to their given identity.

Smart choice, Elf! The original 1995 film and Stand Alone Complex are mountains of gold! *A*; Why would anyone want to corrupt that? Should of just released the 1995 film in theaters-oh wait. I forgot. American audiences wouldn't "get it". But they'll easily understand the Scarlett version.

THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thing is, Sailor Moon was (thankfully) done right in live action (so far). Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon from 2004-2004 was really good, despite the goofy sentai fight choreography. It made up for it with great character depth, exploration and story. Same goes for the Sera Myu musicals.

Light...Turner?! Where's the trash bin? I have this sudden need to vomit blood. ;A;

My sentiments exactly. It makes me want to jump into a spring of No Return. But there's more, both Light and L are ... English (From England.) ... The new Live Action Remake for it is not even based in Japan *Crumbles into a pillar of salt*

I do own the second part of the Japanese-version Live Action for Sailor Moon, but at the time I thought I had bought the first Volume for it. It was also bought from an anime story in Japan so it's even without Subtitles. T_T

To be fair, wasn't L brought up in England at Wammy's House?

As for Light Turner.... yeah, vomiting blood seems like the correct response. Do these people honestly think this is doing the originals justice!? frustrated

Sometimes, I honestly wish I had access to Kiyohime or Artemis.

Yes! I could happily sing along to that little beauty (well, it'd be helpful if the lyrics weren't in Russian...). I love the closing theme Lithium Flower too.

Haha yeah, it being in Russian makes it a little difficult, but I could never help trying to sing along anyway, same with Rise from the second season. I'm gonna have to go listen to them now :D
