Razer's Mai-Hime Art

Post by Kiros Razer on Fri Jun 21, 2013 6:12 pm

I only have one drawing on hand and that's my OC's.
(I'll add more once I find them and draw more.)

My version of daughters for Mai X Mikoto and Shiznat.

Miroku Minagi is named by Mikoto due to Mikoto
wanting to give her daughter strength in my  fan fic.
I know it's a male name. Lol

Miyuki Kuga is the shiznat daughter.

I've been working on this since around 09,
Off and on with fan fic/art.

Wish you were more "on" with your artwork, Kiros! They were always pretty cool whenever I ran into them on deviantART and seeing daughters for MaiKoto and ShizNat in your styles looks great! I love the way Miroku looks the most; she has Mai's hair with Mikoto's two braids. AND HER CHEST TAKES AFTER HER MOTHER! *_*

Combining takes a lot of effort,

I used Miroku because how many people are going to use it as a girl?

The whole name and gender would turn someone away.

We have to think, what would Mikoto name her child? XD
(Um.. child? I only know Miroku! = would be how her character would respond in the anime. however Mikoto's  maturity will of course have her childish still in ways.
So much development but the real me can be too much of a perfectionist.
It takes years but sometimes I get TOO impatient and become displeased with what I do because I am not following the "correct" way.)

I have to work harder on Miyuki though,
Miroku was done first because I found she would be the most complicated.
Miyuki is in stage #1.
I have to do many drawings until I find the right look.
Miroku I tried first because I suck at drawing braids.
So, I worked until they looked okay.

I compared this with DBZ fusion but with children and genetics.
But like how combining features into one character,
I can at least say dbz taught me something. XD

Miroku has a dark haired sister named Meia who is supposed to resemble Mikoto more.

Who falls for Kumoko (Kumo) Yuuki (Nao's cloned daughter)

I may give Miyuki a sister too that is a year younger.

I am developing children characters for some of the Himes.

Also even Chie and Aoi should have one!:D

The fusion idea works for your characters. :) At least they don't have to do a dance to pull it off! XD Seriously Kiros, your artwork is really cool. Ever thought of doing comic strips Miyuki, Kumoko and the others? We could always use more artists and storytelling on Ara Ara Oi Oi (our official webcomics site). Or if you want to do OC and comics on other yuri couples/show, you can work with our other webcomics site (Lily-CoMM).

@ View Master: Love your Sakurako x Himawari gif. XD

I'm one of those slow planners and sometimes ideas I need help with.
My good friend is going to help me visualize my ideas better by doing her version if them.
I have to see things in order to draw so references are teaching me a lot!
Fan art is easier for me, but I want to improve in both.^^

I don't want my drawing buddy to leave me in the dust
with her amazing art that she is improving on.

My story is still in development so they might change as i continue.:D
I had a feeling that you would use, Nao for an avatar.:)

That's cool, Kiros! You should always plan ahead to be sure your artwork meets your and your buddy's expectations before running with it. If you ever change you mind, contact me anytime. It doesn't matter what your art style is on Lily-CoMM or Ara Ara, Oi Oi. We just want creative and cute lesbian stories people can enjoy. :)

I really have a lot to learn still,
I mean off and on I would practice with mouse
and different programs over the years.

Anytime I did that or use a tablet
I challenge myself by using references.
Since my pen & paper art
shows I'm not as good at drawing without one.

I'll keep practicing and
keep what you said in mind!
I am often asking her advice
and from those willing to give me tips.

I'm glad that you like my art!

I think I'll look up the site now just have a peek.:D

wetochan's been using a mouse for years until I got her the tablet finally. Now you had your tablet for quite some time now; she even told me that you were one of the artists who recommended getting a tablet. Sometimes she does combinations by using pen and paper and gives them some tablet makeover. XD But yeah, keep practicing Kiros. Your artwork is really good and again, perfectly suited for our comics sites. If you found them both already, let me know what you think. Arika Yumemiya

I need to learn how to make a comic..sweatdrop  I could if I learned more on it and it sounds and looks fun!
I had ones I made called Razer's craptastic comics.
(Name for my crappy but fantastic work that actually looks like something.
Despite not being 100% accurate but still fun!Wink )

I never had a tablet in my life until recently but it was my personal goal for years..
I figured if I get it or not still pass on the advice to her.
I felt the girl had talent and one would be good for her.
I know several artists who recommended it to me.:D

I only found Ara Ara! Oi Oi! of the sites.

XD Please tell me your craptastic comics are still up and running somewhere, so I can see them. You hit the nail on the head, Kiros. I'm looking for unique works, rather than perfect work. It's honest and true yuri. :)

No doubt about it! I can't think of a single artist who doesn't have a tablet these days. Not counting the artists in their teens on deviantART who just scan their sketches and doodle works. I'm talking about people like wetochan, Banished Shadow, Aurora Stylus, DefyingMisery, etc.

Well my craptastic comics are still lying around here collecting dust, I may look for them sometime and especially my story Ravenwolf that I drew and made into crappy comics. All do have yuri in them. ^^

Most were shorts like less than 10 pages. since my stories are long.

I mean my razer story is several thousand handwritten notebook pages.
Dated 1997-2013.
Kind of kept myself in nowhere land for well over a decade.lol!

Funny everyone you mentioned I watched and many more!
Some I did notice mention Mai-Multiverse and noticed the ones I chatted with came from here.

Thanks for helping me come up with Midori X Yohko's daughter's name.
And the 3 Suzushiro daughters.
I have things like TakumiXAkira's children.

Tate X Shiho kid.
(Thanks for the idea of giving him same hair color like shiho.)

idk why i made reito be with Fumi O.o;

I need to make Alyssa be with Miyu in the future and have a kid named Mayu.

I figured only name i can come with adding yu.
yu= yggdrasil unit
I figure was most important in miyu's name.
A daughter like character might need some work.

M.A part needs something logical in it? Got any ideas?
